Sweet Iced Tea

Each spring, I pull out my gallon pitcher and start making this elixir again. This classic southern drink reminds me of lying on the couch in my Grandmother's house while she watched The Price Is Right. Steph and I keep it around at all times, at Steph's behest. This is when you know you've married the right woman.

1 quart boiling water
3 quarts warm water
1/4 cup sugar
2 family sized teabags

Put sugar in the bottom of a gallon iced tea container. Pour in warm water. Add tea bags. Then pour the boiling water over the tea bags. Leave out until the tea is the color you prefer. Put into the refrigerator and wait until cold or pour over ice in a tall glass for immediate refreshment.

I like to add a dollop of lemon juice to get that good Grandma taste.
